Central West End Christmas – St. Louis, MO – December 2018

My family is currently based in St. Louis – we are a family of 4 – me, Brandi is the mom, and I’m 43.  My husband, who we’ll refer to as P, is 51.  We have a 15-year-old we’ll refer to as J, and a 12-year-old who we’ll call E.
On a recent weekend, E was at a boy scout campout, so P, J, and I decided to go wandering around in our own city, acting like tourists.  We went to the Central West End in St. Louis.
This Mexican restaurant (El Burro Loco) was nicely decorated.
Another nearby business was providing free s’mores for visitors.  We could walk up and make our own!
There were street entertainers.
The World Chess Hall of Fame is located in this area.  It offers lots of photo ops!
There were lots of other beautiful street decorations, and lots of cute little shops with beautiful items for sale.
It was a lot colder than we had expected, so we didn’t stay as long as we had wanted to, but overall, it was a wonderful day.  Exploring your own city is fun, and we’re going to try to do it more often!
